The Chagossian records website has gone live and is provided by the FCDO/BIOT working with Towns Web Archiving. This has been in preparation for at least two years and was announced by the FCDO/BIOT as part of the Support Package. We expect an official announcement and official advice shortly. Click on the link below to see the site. It contains official records of births, marriages and deaths on Chagos between 1878 and 1971.
