UK Citizenship
In November 2022, the UK government launched a new British nationality route for individuals of Chagossian descent. It allows them to become British citizens free of charge, and to build their future in the UK should they wish to.

Social prescribing links patients with non-medical support to improve their physical and mental wellbeing. It can help people with nutrition, housing, employment issue, and much, much more.
Social prescribing works for a wide range of people, including those:
- who are 18+
- with one or more long-term conditions
- who need support with anxiety or depression
- who are lonely or isolated
- who have complex social needs which affect their wellbeing.
Turn2us is a national charity providing practical help to people who are struggling financially.
Rehabilitation or Mental Health Assistance
Rehab 4 Addiction offers a wealth of resources and information about addiction and mental health issues. It also provides a helpline that offers immediate assistance to those struggling with addiction or mental health in West Sussex. They offer a comprehensive directory of treatment centres throughout the UK, making it easier for those in need to find help near them.
